The Apple Watch Pro cases and clues about the new design. The images of the alleged cases of the new Apple Watch Pro are leaking on the net. Among the big news expected for September 7 there will also be the unpublished Apple Watch Pro. According to various sources, the Apple Watch Pro will debut with a completely new design which is a reworking of the form factor that Apple first introduced with the Series 4 in 2018.
Apple Reality Pro, that’s what Apple’s first virtual reality device will be called
The Pro is rumored to be introducing a new form factor, not square in the traditional sense of the word. And the cases show that the main body of the watch will be round, while the upper edge of the watch will be round. The frame will be round. The screen will be flat and possibly flush with a flatter screen than the Series 7 model to provide better impact protection.
There are also several cutouts that suggest a larger, protruding digital crown and side buttons on the right, paired on the left with what appear to be larger-than-usual openings – one round, the other pill-shaped – where di usually you will find the thin speaker openings of the device. It is unclear whether these openings are intended to house a new speaker design or additional physical buttons.
The new Apple Watch Pro is expected to have a significantly larger display, on which users will be able to view more fitness and health tracking data at the same time. According to Gurman, the Pro model will also feature redesigned watch faces and a new low-power mode.
The display is expected to measure nearly two inches diagonally, a larger size than the 1.9-inch screen of the current Apple Watch Series 7 and the expected Apple Watch Series 8. The screen is also expected to be more impact resistant and that the battery is larger to allow for longer usage sessions.
The standard models of the Apple Watch Series 8 should have the same design as the Apple Watch Series 7, with no updates to the body.
We’ve seen some photos of a third-party accessory possibly printed for the upcoming Apple Watch Pro; this suggests that the Garmin-style rugged device may actually have additional physical buttons on the left side of the screen.
Intended for athletes and hikers, the new Apple Watch Pro is expected to feature a new rigid titanium frame design with a larger screen, but so far the rumors have not mentioned the inclusion of new buttons on the device, where the slots of the speakers.
Those who do high-level physical activity generally prefer physical buttons to touchscreen controls, since they are more responsive in rain and adverse weather conditions, so the inclusion of the new keys would make sense, if the rumors obviously proved correct.
The cutouts of the digital crown and side buttons on the right side of the screen also suggest that these buttons will be more protruding than other Apple Watch models. It is not clear, however, where the usual speaker outputs will be located.
