Periscope lenses maybe only on the iPhone 15 Pro Max

Periscope lenses maybe only on the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The iPhone 15 Pro Max could be the only model of the future series to integrate the periscopic camera.

How to improve the battery life of your iPad?

This was reported by a “leaker” suggesting that specific components could be reserved for the top-of-the-range model.

Periscope lenses allow for an optical zoom with a longer range, using a prism and lens array (angled mirrors to bounce light off the lens), resulting in a better level of detail, without needing to build a thick phone greater.

Rumors have been circulating for some time that Apple intends to integrate a periscope lens with 5x optical zoom into future iPhone Pro models (other rumors still speak of 10x).

The leaker @URedditor claims to have received confirmations according to which the periscopic lens system, which will allow a greater zoom range than current models, will be an exclusive of the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Deep Throat didn’t give further details, saying the latter, at least for now, cannot be disclosed; responding to a follower’s question about whether the camera system layout will be different, he replied: “Not really.”

Rumors about a possible new type of camera with telescopic lenses on the iPhone 15 have been circulating for some time; analyst Ming-Chi Kuo previously reported that the periscope lens should be exclusive to the 15 Pro models and next year to all iPhone 16s; subsequently the analyst corrected the shot, stating that only the top-of-the-range Pro models will integrate periscopic lenses.

The recently circulated CAD diagrams of the iPhone 15 Pro confirm the action button and show a larger but not colossal camera compartment. Among the main differences of the 15 Pro models compared to the standard models, the new Apple A17 chip, expected as the first processor in the world built with the 3-nanometer production process, for superior performance and reduced consumption.
