iPhone 15, the new design is on the wish list. Users still want a “mini” iPhone, but a complete design redesign is the most desired feature on the iPhone 15 wish list.
Apple revamped the iCloud web interface
SellCell asked over 2,500 iPhone users in the United States to share some insight into current and upcoming Apple products.
The most popular Apple device to buy during the year-end period is the iPhone, with 37.4% of respondents planning to buy one for Christmas. AirPods take second place with 18.7%, followed by the Apple Watch with 16.3%. HomePod mini is the least popular Apple device among Christmas wishes, with just 2.9% of respondents planning to buy one. 40.6% of respondents had no plans to buy an Apple device for the holidays.
When asked if they planned to upgrade to a model in the iPhone 14 range, 13.6% of respondents said they have already done so, but a further 29.7% plan to do so in the near future. Of the 56.7% who don’t plan to upgrade, 45.3% said they would keep their current device for longer and 5.1% said they are looking forward to the launch of the line iPhone 15 next year. 2.4% of respondents are waiting for the launch of the fourth generation iPhone SE. 59.4% of respondents who plan to buy a model in the iPhone 14 range say that it is not a problem to have to wait five weeks to get hold of a new device.
As for the iPhone 15 models, the majority of respondents are asking for a design redesign, after so many years of too similar iPhones. Many are also asking for new color options.
28.8% want the return of accessories such as EarPods and a power adapter, 23.9% want the iPhone 15 to have a periscope zoom camera, 23.6% would like to see the return of Touch ID, 20 .3% want iPhone to move to USB-C and 11.7% want Dynamic Island to expand across the entire iPhone 15 model range. 8.5% want a return to the mini model, now shelved by Apple, perhaps to replace the “Plus” model which for many makes little sense.
And you, what would you like from the iPhone 15?
