Apple decided to add on and off sounds after visually impaired people asked the company to add some sort of reset indicator to the iPhone.
The new feature is available on iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
How to turn on and off sounds on iPhone 14
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone 14.
- Select the Accessibility section.
- In the Hearing section, select Audio Visualization.
- Turn on the “Turn on and off sounds” option.
That’s all. Your iPhone will now make a sound when you turn it on or off. You can disable this option at any time.
