iOS 17, new information on the upcoming iPhone operating system. New details are arriving on iOS 17, an operating system that will be presented in June and launched in the final version at the end of September. It is confirmed that iOS 17 (codename Dawn) will not look much different from iOS 16.

Apparently, Apple has no plans for a significant redesign for the 2023 version of the operating system and this is at least in part due to the fact that many of the company’s resources are devoted to developing the mixed reality headset and its operating system.
That said, there will still be several changes in iOS 17. LeaksApplePro says Apple has some updates to the Music app related to navigation within the app, but didn’t share additional information about the changes.
Apple will also reportedly tweak the Mail, Reminders, Files, Fitness, Wallet, and Find My apps in iOS 17. A complete revamp of the Home app is also expected, but again, the leaker didn’t provide any further details. As for mixed reality headsets, there will be a dedicated app in iOS 17 similar to the Watch app, but with far more features.
LeaksApplePro’s sources say that iOS 17 will support six iPhone models with Dynamic Island. Presumably, those six will be the iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, and all four models in the iPhone 15 lineup.
Finally, the code also suggests that while all four iPhone 15 models will have USB-C ports, “there will be two iPhone models that will support data transfer speeds similar to USB 3.2.” In other words, despite the move to USB-C, iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will likely have transfer speeds similar to the Lightning port.
It must be said that many doubt this information shared by the leaker.
