If you want to make a horizontal image vertical or vice versa, there is no need to use a desktop computer or turn to third-party photo editors. You can rotate a picture in the native Photos app on iPhone and iPad, and we’ll show you how to do it below.
How to rotate photos on iPhone or iPad?
So you’ve taken a vertical-horizontal shot and want to bring it back to its normal position. We go to the Photos app on the iPhone or iPad and select the photo we are interested in. In the upper right corner of the screen, click the “Edit” button and select the tool for rotating the image. In case the toolbar is hidden, just touch the screen.
Then click on the rotation arrow until the photo takes the desired position. To save the result, click on the “Finish” button.
How to rotate photos on iPhone or iPad with higher accuracy?
Among other things, in iOS and iPadOS there are tools that allow you to rotate the image to the angle you need, as well as eliminate distortion and perspective. Choose from three available tools:
