How to properly set up Reminders in iPhone or iPad Calendar? When you create an event in the iOS Calendar, you can easily set up a reminder about it. One trouble – the reminder time is set automatically by a special setting of the Calendar. How to change it?
USB-C on iPhone: that’s why it may not arrive on iPhone 15
You can easily change the default reminder time for birthdays, events, and all-day events if you follow these simple steps:
- Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
- Find Calendar in the list.
- Click on Default Warnings.
- Set the desired time for various events: birthdays, events and all-day events.
You’ll notice that the timed reminder options for birthdays and all-day events are the same. This is On the day of the event, 1.2 days in advance or in the week (in each case at 9:00). This is because Apple developers consider birthdays to be an all-day event. For “simple” events, there are more options and they are more flexible – at the time of the event, 5, 15.30 minutes before, 1 or 2 hours before, 1 or 2 days before, or a week before.
Ready! Now, when creating a new entry in the Calendar, you will notice that the default reminder time is already set to a different one – the one that you chose. If you always or very often choose the same time for reminders, the new setting is the very case when “a trifle, but nice” (convenient).
