Apple Watch Series 8 (2022) review… or Series 7S?
With AirPods Pro 2, Apple has improved the charging case by adding a U1 chip for precision research via the Where is app, a bit like with AirTags. This means that there is a built-in speaker in the case that can emit sounds to help you locate it.
However, the speaker is not only used when using the Where is app, but also plays an acoustic signal every time you charge the case. The sound is reproduced both if you connect the case to the power supply via Lightning and via wireless charging. If you find this sound rather annoying, today let’s see together how to enable or disable the charging case sounds of the AirPods 2.
How to enable / disable the charging case sounds of the AirPods Pro 2
- Connect your AirPods Pro 2 to your iPhone
- Open the Settings app
- Tap the AirPods Pro 2 tab located just below your Apple ID
- Scroll down and set the switch of the item Enable the sounds of the charging case to ON / OFF.
