How to Delete Google Search History on iPhone. Chances are, you use Google Search and other Google services every day. The problem is that Google collects a lot of data about you, and many people don’t like it. Fortunately, you can now easily clear your search history for privacy purposes.
Added the option to delete the search history for the last 15 minutes. There is also an option that automatically deletes your activity data for the last 3, 18 or 36 months. Previously, you had to manually clear your recent search history or clear it completely.
Note that deleting your Google search history will not clear your YouTube search history or your location history. The method only deals with Google search history and web activity.
How to clear Google search history in the last 15 minutes
Step 1: Open the Google app on your iPhone or iPad. Select your profile in the upper right corner.
Step 2: Select Delete last 15 minutes under the Search History option.
Step 3: Confirm your action.
You can also set up automatic deletion of your search history and web activity. You can delete history for the last 3, 18 or 36 months.
How to automatically delete Google search history
Step 1: Go to the Google Actions page. You may need to log into your Google account.
Step 2: Select the Automatic deletion option and select the data deletion period. Removal is available after 3, 18 or 36 months.
Step 4: Click Next and Confirm to have Google delete your data automatically.
As a reminder, deleting your Googlesearch history is not the same as deleting your YouTube search history or your location history. These options are configured separately.
