Bloomberg: the launch of the MR headset is close – it has already been shown to Apple tops. The Mixed Reality (MR) headset is close to launch. Last week, it was shown to the secret Top 100 group, which includes top Apple executives, at the Steve Jobs Theatre.

Apparently, Apple recognizes that it will not achieve much with the first generation. The fate of this headset, which will be called either Reality One or Reality Pro, may be similar to the fate of the Apple Watch – it was a bad launch of a buggy device with obscure applications, clutter in the interface and incomprehensible purpose. Eight years later, however, the watch has become a great fitness companion for the wearer and a staple of the company’s wearables category.
Now Apple is hoping the same story will happen with the MR headset: the product will be released with a focus on FaceTime calls for $ 3,000, and after a couple of generations the device will make at least some sense.
The presentation of the most important Apple product over the past few years, which does not prevent it from being practically uninteresting, is expected in June at WWDC 2023. The sale should take place before January 2024.
