Available update to tvOS 16.1.1, fixed bug that prevented app installation. Apple has released the tvOS 16.1.1 update, available for the 3rd generation Apple TV 4K. The House of Cupertino reports that the update fixes a problem that could prevent the installation of apps.
Beta 3 of iOS 16.2 and iPadOS 16.2 to developers
The 3rd generation Apple TV 4K was recently presented and the update in question is intended exclusively for this model. The update is likely to fix a bug that, in some circumstances, halved the usable storage capacity of the top-model Apple TV 4K 2022 (64GB instead of 128GB).
Apple TV can be updated by opening Settings on the device, going to System > Software updates and selecting “Update software”: if an update is available, a message is shown; just select “Download and Install” to start the download. During the update process, it’s important not to unplug Apple TV. The indicator light may flash slowly during the update process.
