What you need to know about installing macOS Monterey Beta
Back up your Mac using Time Machine before installing the public beta, as you may need to restore your device.
You can return to macOS Big Sur at any time. However, this will require formatting your Mac.
Many third-party programs don’t work yet, especially on the M1 Mac.
Not all macOS Monterey features are available on all Macs. Some are exclusive to Apple Silicon Mac only.

How to install macOS Monterey Beta
Step 1: Go to the Apple Beta Program website and sign up with your Apple ID. The same Apple ID must be used on a Mac.
Step 2: Click Register Devices and select macOS.
Step 3: Download the macOS Public Beta Access Utility tool on Mac.
Step 4: Open the downloaded .pkg file and follow the instructions on the screen.
Step 5: After installation, the Firmware update section will open. Download the beta version of macOS Monterey.
Step 6: After downloading, the installation of macOS 12 will start.
Step 7: Just follow the steps on the screen.
You will then automatically receive new public beta versions of macOS Monterey on Mac. As a reminder, this is still a beta version, so it contains bugs and issues.
